Ingredients:
2 cups bulgar, rice, couscous, or quinoa
*Use finely chopped cauliflower for a 100% raw version
2 cups boiling water
1/2 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, use a great one!
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 red onion, finely diced
8 scallions finely chopped
3 medium cucumbers, peeled, seeded and diced
1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
1 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
1 packed cup fresh mint, finely chopped
3 red tomatoes, seeded and diced
*Add cumin for extra flavor

What to do with it:
1. Add 2 cups of bulgar to large glass mixing bowl
2. Boil 2 cups of water and Himalayan salt
3. Mix water with bulgar, cover, and put it in your fridge while you prepare other ingredients
4. Cut all herbs and vegetables accordingly (excluding the garlic)
5. Mince garlic cloves and add to a measuring cup (for the dressing)
6. Add lemon juice, olive oil and Himalayan salt to the same measuring cup and stir!
7. Once bulgar is cooled add all ingredients to the bowl and mix thoroughly
8. Add dressing and mix again (don’t be afraid to get in there with your hands!)

Everything I consumed today was RAW & LIVING except the quinoa was cooked!
Exercise: Walking :)

One of my facebook status for today: guys it is VERY IMPORTANT we eat REAL FOODS and NOT GMO'S... look what they are doing to the planet... causing such an imbalance. There is a clear imbalance between TOO MUCH and NOT ENOUGH. We have the power with our dollar... every single day we purchase something AND CONSUME it we are saying to these companies EITHER 'YES thanks make more of this i support' it OR 'no i won't buy your products, i will support local organic sustainable companies instead' THE POWER IS WITH US. We can put them out of business or keep them going. ALL PROCESSED FOODS with sugar, corn, soy ARE GENETICALLY MODIFIED. DO NOT EAT THEM... no matter how much you are craving them. I refuse to... you should too. We all make such a massive difference. Use your power!!! <3 a="a" href="http://www.facebook.com/lianawernergray">www.facebook.com/lianawernergray

  1. I have been looking at your site and information and have been very impressed and will be purchasing the Eath Diet Book. I would just like to comment on the above picture used to depict Monsanto and the public, the picture using the third world child and the vulture : I found it a most heart wrenching and sickening photo, a picture of a young vulnurable child at it's weakest. I was apalled that you would use thta child's situatin to get your point about Monsanto across. I support the anti-Monsanto effort but not at this childs expense. Monsanto are vultures but we the public are not that poor malnourished child and can never even begin to imagine what that child had been through. I feel your use of the childs image lessens his plight and his poor fragile life. Thank you for hearing my conceren. Regards, Toni Reeves.
