Day 310
Thoughts: Hello beautiful beings!
When I started on my quest to create a Earth Diet cafe, I thought what are the benefits of a cafe that sells authentic healthy options...
• Eating healthy is just as important as regular exercise – they go hand in hand with one another.
•Food has power. It can be used for good or bad, ugly or fat, unhealthy and healthy, love, hate, nutrition or malnutrition – we want people to feel good, empowered when they leave the gym or after they have had a juice – that feeling will have them coming back and wanting their friends and family to also experience that rush. The healthier the people, the healthier the earth.
•The more handling, processing, human interference, cooking, machinery package, the more the food is stripped of its natural vitamins and minerals. Food on The Earth Diet menu are made from whole foods, no sugar, no processed artificial anythings, no chemicals and no preservatives, no wheat, no dairy.
•All of the ingredients are provided naturally from the earth and are also whole foods complete with all their rich natural endowment of nutrients. These foods and juices have also been selected because they are among the richest sources of many of the essential nutrients needed for optimal health.
-When we digest the food we eat, new blood cells are created. From there, new cells and new tissue. Food is the building block of who we will become. What we have eaten in the past is who we are in the present moment.
•All the foods on the menu are RAW. Benefits of Raw: Scientific evidence shows that raw diets decrease toxic products in the colon. Burn your finger and skin tissue dies. Overly apply heat to food and nutrients are progressively destroyed. Fresh food prior to wilting or rotting sustains life to a high degree of wellness.
Harvested food from field and orchard provides raw materials to replenish your cells and tissues. Overly cooking food destroys live plant and animal tissue whose nutrients no longer bear any relationship to your living body.
A diet containing an abundance of raw, unfired food maximizes well being.
One of the best things about raw is there are less calories in each meal, so you can eat more and enjoy more! Processed foods are high in calories and so you have to eat less of them to maintain and lose weight. Also see Blog Day 71 on being raw.
•People go to the gym to transform their bodies and health. When people are shedding their old identity, often they lack typical energy, feel out of sorts, and perhaps are angry and confused. With the assistance of nutrient high foods and only after they begin to wear their new skin, their new identity, then they will have the clarity of vision to better understand the test and the growth that has occurred.
•In order for our body to function at the optimal level, it is important that our daily intake is made of foods that are nourishing, rich in vitamins and minerals, free of pesticides, and prepared with natural ingredients. Such foods are full of life force, which will keep the body in a balanced state. On the contrary, foods that are processed with chemicals, refined, genetically engineered, are “dead” (a.k.a. Frankenfoods), and lack the vitality that we need to absorb from them.
The Sweets available at the new cafe will be: (RAW)
• Chocolate Balls (with whole nuts; almonds, brazil nuts, walnuts, cashews and macadamia)
• Peanut Butter Chocolate Balls
• Chocolate Brownies
• Cookie Dough Balls
- Manny's Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
- Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
The juices available were posted in yesterdays Blog Day 309!
Benefits of raw organic sweets: No dairy; milk, eggs, sugar, flour, no cooking, artificial flavourings, chemicals or preservatives!
